It is not recommended to use NexentaStor as a general purpose Unix box.. it is targeted as a storage appliance (anything else is not supported).

That said, NStor is NCP underneath. So you can get Vbox setup on a headless NCP box. Follow the instructions on http://www.nexenta.org/boards/1/topics/142#message-175

Note: Try this on an experimental box.. Or take a apt-clone of the existing environment before proceeding (so you can revert your system in case of any issues).

Is it possible to run virtualbox on Nexentastor 3.0. I have plenty of spare CPU power and I am wondering if I can make use of it.
