RE: Cifs Nightmares

Nevermind. I was having major issues configuring a simple mixed access cifs/nfs share with a workgroup. Not very user friendly from the GUI.

Between cifs/zfs default unix user, umask, ACLs, idmap workgroup pain, I've got it set up via CLI The Solaris smb server cifs/nfs mixed mode access stuff is a bloody painful after having dealt extensively with Celerras, Ontap, and Samba. Those chmod commands are about as convoluted as it gets.
