Error opening folder properties

Added by Eric V over 2 years ago

I just installed Nexenta 3.0.2 and am having problems configuring a CIFS share. When I click on a link to a folder in the "Summary Information: Folders" list, I am taken to an error reporting page, NMV Internal Error:

I've tried creating a new folder, but the same error page pops up.

Here's some information in the error page: Details: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/nmv/httptools.py", line 53, in loopiter File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/cherrypy/_cphttptools.py", line 273, in main body = pagehandler(*virtualpath, **self.params) File "", line 3, in index File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/turbogears/controllers.py", line 360, in expose args, *kw) File "", line 5, in runwithtransaction File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/turbogears/database.py", line 363, in so_rwt retval = func(args, *kw) File "", line 5, in _expose File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/turbogears/controllers.py", line 373, in mapping, fragment, args, kw))) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/turbogears/controllers.py", line 410, in executefunc output = errorhandling.try_call(func, args, *kw) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/turbogears/errorhandling.py", line 77, in try_call return func(self, args, *kw) File "", line 3, in index File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/nmv/workarounds/init.py", line 100, in expose File "", line 3, in index File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/turbogears/identity/conditions.py", line 210, in require return fn(self, args, *kwargs) File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/nmv/subcontrollers/dataShares.py", line 145, in index File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/turbogears/widgets/meta.py", line 164, in widget_init func(self, args, *kw) File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/nmv/subcontrollers/dataShares.py", line 85, in init File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/turbogears/widgets/meta.py", line 164, in widget_init func(self, args, *kw) File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/nmv/subcontrollers/dataDatasets.py", line 2955, in init KeyError: ('aclmode', >)

Hello,

The issue already fixed. You should upgrade your appliance (nmc "setup appliance upgrade" command) and try again.

Thanks. I downloaded and installed the latest version from the website, so I figured I was all up to date. I also didn't see an upgrade option in the UI, so I didn't pursue it much further.

Upgrade now =)
