Nexenta-System crash
Added by Florian Haake 10 months ago
Hello,
my Nexentastor-system (FibreChannel Datastore for two ESX-hosts) has four hdds and three ssds:
- 2x2 HDDs in mirrors
- 1 SSD for Cache and 1 SSD for Write/Log and another SSD for the system itself
Today the whole system crashes and reboots with the following message "panic [CPU1]/thread=ffffff02c29d3720: anon_decref: slot count 0". The complete screenshot is attached...
Has anybody a idea what this means?
Thanks
Florian

Could you please share dump of the crash ?

For sure. But how can I copy the dump? It seems to be not a regular file... :/
Edit: Okay - I found the correct file. It will take some time to upload the 2GB... I will post the link when its ready. Thanks for your help! :)

Did you have the time to download the dump-file? Than I could delete it from dropbox... :)

Yes, i downloaded the file. Also i did some little research and found some similar bugs, that already fixed. Now i continue researching.

Without the SSDs for Cache and Write the systems seems to be stable running. Is it possible that it has something to do with the SSDs and what bugs are fixed?
