NexentaStor with Dell MD3600i

Hi I am new to nexentaStor . I currently have the following configuration which I would like to configure. [ Dell R710 server, MD3600i , NIC : Intel 82598EB 10 Gig card. NexentaStor (Community) 3.1.2]
I have few queries.
- Will the NIC card be able to with the MD on Nexenta?
- IF Yes, any particular plugins that would be necessary?
- Will the scsitarget plugin work with the MD ?
Appreciate if any one could assist me on this

Are you looking for multi-pathing? I am not familiar with MD?
You can check the hsl for hardware support. http://www.nexenta.com/corp/hardware-supported-list but i can see on the list that there is a pci-e intel 10GBE nic. The 10 Gigabit CX4 Dual Port Server Adapter. And i see the dell 710.
Iscsi target works fine with any supported nic. On the front page of the this site is a link to a youtube video on setting up iscsi you may find helpful

The Intel card 82598EB (x510), works fine, using 4 dual port (DA) cards at the moment.

Hi Linda At the moment I am not looking for multi-pathing , but trying to see if the configuration works. Between the HCL list shows DELL MD 1200 working with it , i guess it will be with the usual SAS controllers I will check the links

Between any suggestion if COMSTAR scsitarget plugin would work with MD ?

We don't currently have that on the hardware support list
